The Last Ride Music video
"Horses are sacred and need a voice to speak out for them,
It is my hope to be one of many voices that will raise a unified shout for justice".
- Gareth
The Last Ride is the title song to the upcoming documentary film, "Their Last Ride", by Thundering Hooves Non Profit and
So Be It Films, soon to be released. The music video and documentary were made to bring awareness to the issue and the plight of wild and domestic horses being transported across our borders for slaughter, and sold for consumption in a European market.
The music video for "The Last Ride", was filmed in West Texas on several locations in Toyahvale, Marfa and Presidio by director/producer M. Aku RoDriguez of So Be It Films.
Song written by Gareth Laffely and Susan Oliver of Roaring Brook Records.
Parts of the music video were filmed at Thundering Hooves Memorial Fence - which is a moving tribute to the Horse Nation.

Red ties blowing in the wind for all the world to see...for the Horse Nation!
"Watching the making of “The Last Ride” music video was an emotional journey. As the dirt gently filters through Gareths' fingers, as he kneels next to the memorial fence, I felt the injustice of it all - every horses' last ride
should be a gentle return to the earth."
